Introduction to Colbyn Guest Lodge
Our Guest Lodge is somehow different from the normal B&B or Guest house. We have 11 private en-suite spacious self-catering en-suites and with private entrances. We have 3 different types/classes of suites ranging from standard holiday -Inn type (36 m sq.) to more luxurious and we also have some spacious family type suites (85 m sq.) with 2 bedrooms each.
All units are accessible through a tropical garden and patio enriched with plants, trees and an abundance of different bird species. Woodpeckers, wild parquets are common due to the trees, lots of water and feeding hatches.
We render a one stop all round service including secretarial services, touring advice and arrangements in Pretoria CBD, Johannesburg, Game Parks, places of interest as well as country touring.
We handle our own shuttle service and tour operating concentrating in Mpumalanga where we have our own Bush Lodge “Bateleur Bush Lodge” bordering the Crocodile River bank at the famous Kruger Park roaming with wild animals. We also take guests personally to Kruger Park, Swaziland and Mozambique. This is an affordable and unique experience with personal attention, barbeques and SA Life style and not to be found in most places in the world of touring …… “Something different”
Our suites are fully equipped for self-catering as well as we do lunches/dinners on request. We further have the following facilities.

- Single occupancy (Standard Suites) R 660 p.p.p. day
- Single occupancy (Luxury and family SuitesB) R 750 p.p.p. day
- Sharing 2 or more guests R 450.00 p.p.p.day
- Breakfast (full English) R 75 p.p.p.day
- Lunch R 95 –R 150 p.p.p.day
- Dinner (Personal order or special SA Dishes) 2 & 3 course meals R 135 – R 165.00 p.p.
- Laundry services R 35 per Kg or as per laundry list
- Shuttle service to and from CBD Pretoria R 15.00 per Km with R 60 min.
- Shuttle service to and from OT Tambo Air Port R 650 p.trip and R 165 for additional person
- Venue Hosting (all inclusive meals, snacks etc.) From R 250.00 p.p.p.day** Above cost excludes SA VAT @15%
